    John,

Difficult one to answer not knowing what the results are. Are you missing long or short of the hole? Do you use a GPS or rangefinder to get the distance?

Many would suggest getting a laser rangefinder as they are the most accurate.

If you're coming in with a short iron or wedge are is your decent too steep as this will cause the ball to stop quicker on the greens that the fairway, Try working on getting a range of flights for approach shots and chips so you can use the right one on these types of shots.

Best of luck and let us know if you find the answer.

What's your struggle? Do you come up short? Trust your yardage. Then adjust depending on how much uphill it is, you may need to go up a club, or so.

I spin the ball fairly well, but on some of those uphill shots the ball is landing on a shallower angle and will run out, instead of biting and stopping. Let's say you've got 150. Maybe the ball will land at 140 and run to the flag. Or you need to play for 160.

Try to remember that the golf shot is an arc. If the landing area is above, thus the arc stops shorter than normal so you need to take more club than you would for a flat shot. Opposite applies for greens way below your hitting area. Try to find a place to practice these shots. Unfortunately most practice ranges are flat.

Hi John, if you can see the flag I’d suggest you get a range finder with slope on, note though you can only use the slope in practice rounds. With the function on it works out the extra yards you need to hit for the incline.

its not the yardage its actually visualising the shot because i cant see the bottom of the flag. I always seem to miss to the right
  7. You need to rely on your swing
I played for many years on courses in the UK and had to pick a spot on a green and go for it
Visualize the shot in your mind and go for it and in time it will start to work
