Every season, the right piece of equipment can completely change the way we play. For some golfers, it’s been the new Titleist GT driver helping them find more fairways and distance. Others might point to dialing in a fresh wedge setup for better control around the greens. Then, of course, there are those who swear by the confidence a new Scotty Cameron putter gives them when it comes to making key putts. And let’s not forget the golf ball — sometimes switching to a different Titleist ball can be the biggest game-changer of all.

So I’d love to hear from you: which Titleist product has had the greatest impact on your game this year, and how has it helped you improve?

The Titleist Vokey SM10 04T has really elevated my short game because of how much control and versatility it gives me. Around the greens, I feel like I can confidently open the face, hit those delicate shots, and know the ball will react the way I want. The grind and bounce fit my style perfectly, so instead of second-guessing or worrying about chunking or blading, I’m stepping up with trust and executing. That confidence alone has freed me up to be more aggressive and creative close to the hole.

On the greens, the Scotty Cameron Catalina Triple Black has been a smooth transition. The balance, feel, and feedback have made it easier to get my speed right and roll the ball consistently. I’m noticing more putts dropping, but just as importantly, I’m eliminating those frustrating 3-putts. Having that reliability with both my wedge and putter has made my whole short game feel calmer, sharper, and way more consistent.

For me Simon, it is the Scotty Cameron Phantom 7.2 which I bought earlier this year, it has blade like qualities, but with all the help of a mallet and then I recently bought some AIM Pro v1x which have really helped my putting. I always used the brand name to line up putts but the AIM lines are so good.

    Simon.
Since August last year my whole bag has changed. New irons have given me a bit more forgiveness and much better control, with a little added distance.
The most recent addition has been a Phantom 7.2. The extra head weight and shorter shaft have set my eyes in a better position over the ball and has made a difference in getting the ball started on line for the dreaded 4 footer. Already seen improvement in that area.

For me it's been introducing the Scotty Cameron Phantom 5 into the bag. This is my first Scotty and I'm really enjoying it, love the feel of it when combined with this years' Pro V1. I previously just used an older blade putter without much thought.

It's been really handy with finding some more stability on the longer + lag putts. Steadily building out a system for tempo + distance control at the moment. Further work on this is definitely on the agenda for the winter period.

Picked up a couple of headcovers during my visit to the Scotty Gallery in Encinitas this summer, so that's also a fun perk of playing SC!

I've also had pretty much a full bag change this year from driver through to PW, including the new T150/250 irons, T250u utility and GT2 Driver + 3 Wood, so there's lots of adjustment and getting used to the gear to be done whilst I figure out how to use them!

    Hi Simon,
For me after a Tour fitting at Woburn, as couple of changes were made.
the first was the confidence I gained in wedge play was fantastic after they were bent and twisted to what I don't know!!! but I was advised to add in an 04T and WOW, this thing has got me up and down from some difficult positions.
I've also changed my putter from a Phantom X 5.5 to a 5 and more puts are sinking!!!!
Seems the fitting guys know what they are doing!!
Here's to what 2026 with bring!

    Great question Simon.

As it was the year for new iron release and the AP1's were past their prime, they were replaced with T250's after an interesting fitting at Foxhills. Looking at the 3D's the 6 iron was replaced with a GT1 hybrid, and 1 inch shorter shafts in the irons.

First round with the new weapons and my best round of the year due to approach play being so much better.

Still got to get into the SIM and get the yardages sorted but there are some cold months ahead to get that done.

Not sure anything will change next year as GT3 is working well, but maybe I'll get fitted for a new Scotty.
