    I have the T200 set in my bag. The PW is 43 after that a Vokey 54 and 58. I think i need a GW but not sure if I go with 48 or 50. What’s your opinion?

    Keep your wedges as equally spread out as possible, typically 4 degrees apart
  4. Best to get gapping fit, so you will know which exact wedges to fill in.

    Hit them both and see which one fills the "gap" better.
  7. I play a 48°, 54° and 60°. They work well for me and the gapping is great.

    via fitting I've gone 50 / 56 / 60 with T200's upto PW (43)

    It’s all about your distances not the loft of the clubs. You will have to figure out the lofts based on distances.

    I'd go with the 48, and then have my 54 bent to 53 to give me 5 degrees between all the wedges. That should give you consistent distances, then you have to make sure your gaps are workable. I have the T100s with both the P (44) and W (48, bent to 49). Then I have SM8's 54/D12 and 58/D12 (bent to 59). Gives me 10-12 yard gapping.

    I recently went to a Titleist fitting and ordered a Vokey SM9 48° to replace my 2021 T200 48°. Getting professionally fitted will get the proper specs based on your needs, too.

    Vokey 48.10F for me (which, btw, is the same loft as the T200 set gap wedge). Then comes my 54.12D and 58.12D (or 60.08M depending on conditions of the day/course).
  13. I faced the same conundrum - Moved from AP2 to T200....
    However, the AP2 PW was 46* and I had a 50* SM7 as gap plus 56* & 62* to make the bottom end of the bag.
    I wasn't a big fan of the 50* and I didn't think it got used much.
    When I was fitted for T200 (Oct 2021), I went for the 48* T200 as a gap and waited for SM9 to come out and was fitted for 52*08F & 60*08M
    Feel much more comfortable with this set-up - The irregular gapping offends my OCD but I feel I get better use of the clubs in my bag. I think the commercial term is "Sweat the Assets".
    Works for me - it's slightly cheaper than 3 SM's but that wasn't the issue.
    Think Fitting is a must....

    PS Have to say I love the new T200's - it will take something special to get them out of my bag!

    So I went for the 48* T200 gap wedge and yes it’s all about the distances not the loft of the clubs.
  15. I’m looking to purchase the sm9’s I’ve got sm7’s really like them but they are getting old and worn so it is time for new ones

    I'd go with the 48. I think a 7 degree gap is a lot.

    For me - 48, I went with the T200 gap wedge. The 50 could work, too. It depends, if you think of the gap wedge as an extension of your irons and will be used for mainly full shots, or, if you want more versatility.

    You could get both!

    I went with 48° but now my gapping needs to be tweaked. I’m going to bend the 48° to 49° or 50°. Have you decided yet which one you are getting?

    I recently got T200’s as well and went 48, 54, 60. Not much of a gapping issue at all. In the fighting bay these were my avg numbers;

    Set PW - 144
    48 - 133
    54 - 117

    Situation dependent I can step on the 54 a bit and get 125 out of it or dial back the 48 for the same result.

    I never hit a full 60 and most of the time hit partial 54s all the down to 50 yards so wasn’t concerned there.

    Got fitted into T200’s recently and went 48, 54, 60 for wedges. Gapping is definitely manageable. In the fitting bay my average total yardages were;

    43 - 145
    48 - 134
    54 - 116

    Depending on the situation I can step on the 54 or lay off the 48 to fill the 125 gap. I never hit a full 60 so I wasn’t concerned with the gap between the LW and SW.
