  1. Stocked up on Pro V1s to get ready for spring.
  2. I read just enough golf instruction articles to totally screw me up for my first tee shot of the upcoming season.

Purchased a putting mirror and have been working on alignment and putter path. Swapped out my old SM4 pitching wedge for a new SM6. Shortened the length of my 917D3 when I ordered it to hopefully increase my accuracy.

I was just fitted to update my driver to the 917 D2. It was time to retire my 913 D3. Track man says I should pick up over 20 yards.

I continued to play last year until the weather turned and then had to head indoors to practice. Continued to practice indoors until coming down to FL for the remainder of the winter. Now it rounds once or twice a week with some range work mixed in. Will be heading back north in mid-late March and my game should be in great shape for the season at home.
  6. It's been a busy of season and now I'm ready for the 2017 season. I got rid of ALL my swoosh Victory Red clubs and joined TEAM TITLEIST. All new 716 AP1 irons, new 917D2 and fairway woods. Now waiting for my new SC Newport 2 to arrive. Big investment but so worth the wait to upgrade!!! Just waiting for the warm weather! #TT

I purchased an indoor putting mat so that my 10 year old daughter and I could make up fun putting games. We have been having a blast....not to mention my putting has improved!

Have played more winter golf on frozen greens than last winter. Makes you hit shots that you don't hit in summer months. Focus, focus, focus.

I have received a 917 driver fitting and I am still working with weights and shafts to get my best results. I plan to purchase a new cart bag (Titleist of course) and a push cart so that I can start walking the course. Preparing golf balls, cleaning clubs, while continuing to play as weather permits. The clothing has been upgraded with new rain suits and last year I purchased an XP set but in the south can be a little much. New SL shoes (love them). Winter gear is ready, but not needed yet this winter. So in the preparation for 2017 the main goal is to play more golf. As always, thanks to Team Titleist for the thoughts, plans, cares, and education.

Got my first Scotty for xmas and I'm not a fan of my in laws but they live in a gated golf community so I've been seeing a lot of them lately and then practicing my putting a lot!
  17. Ordered new 917 driver and fairway wood. Went to outdoor range when temp rose above 45 degrees. Prayed for a quick end to winter and an early spring. Amen.

Working on my swing tempo in the backyard. My daughters and I were able to get our clubs out and practice this weekend!!! Love the moments and love being on the better side spring just around the corner!

I brave the rain and wind with my brothers as we live in the northwest. All the while getting a course all to ourselves, tweaking our game for maximum improvement. Kind of nice to be on course with no one in front or behind you to really concentrate on improving.

Disappointed with my club speed. Upped my workouts from 30 minutes 2-3 times a week to 1 hour every other day, working with a TPI instructor to focus on strengthening the right groups, and starting a training program with a top 5 Wisconsin instructor from now until the ground firms up here. An 8-10 mph increase will make 62-6500 yards fun again. And I need to prove to those doubters that a 67 year old can still accomplish goals.
