Been a crazy warm winter in Kentucky. Been able to play several times or at least putt and chip outside.

To get ready for 2017 I visited the indoor driving range regularly, ramped up my off-season workout program and stocked up on some new Titleist hats for Christmas!

  5. I focused on my overall golf fitness. I worked on program that included rotational and flexibility exercises. My goal is to prevent injury, maintain or improve my current swing speed and improve my lower body stability to improve swing mechanics. Winning on the course starts with a capable body.

Between a few Florida trips and access to a full swing simulator I think I have winter pretty much covered.

Well first I started with a new 917 3 wood that I received for Christmas. I won 2 dozen ProV 1 at our golf Christmas party. We have been going to the heated driving ranges for practice. I signed up for some lessons at our club and have been putting in the house here in Ohio.

Went to TPI (Oceanside) and got fit for a full bag of Titleist clubs from driver down to wedges. I found an extra 20 yards with the 917D3 compared to my previous gamer (910 D3). Thanks Titleist and Lucas Bro (TPI Fitter)!
  13. Hitting my new Titleist driver at the dome and working on increasing my flexibility in the gym. Can't wait to play in 2017!

We have been very fortunate so far for us up in the Northeast. We have not receive much snow and the weather on weekends have been very corporative.

This has allowed me to continue to play and work on my game. One of the investments made this year was to purchase a propane heater for my cart. We have covers on most of our carts, and having a heater has extended the normal golf season significantly.

I have also sent my SC to the shop for some custom work. Hoping to get it back shortly and start gaming it again.

It's actively snowing today who knows when we'll be able to play! But I went and joined a local private course to give myself more opportunity to play (showing up and playing nine before work is a reality now). I've also got an indoor hitting session booked next week. I'll likely get a tune up lesson in also.
