I received the ProV1 test balls last week played a round with them the cover marked up really bad like the balls that came out a few years back. Because all my ProV1 balls from last three years don’t mark up this easy think I remember they made cover better and that solved the problem but the new test balls mark up bad with hitting good shots anyone else have this problem?

I receive a sleeve of ProV1's and I am very excited. Thank you so very much, Team Titleist. Unfortunately, we have received a lot of rain lately so it'll be a bit before I am able to give the balls a good run. However, I promise I will.
  3. Thanks for opportunity to test the new Prov golf balls
But living in Michigan and being a fair weather golfer I won’t be able to use them till spring
But I will let you know how they worked out thank you again

Played 2 rounds with them now. Performance is as good as ever. Cover may be not as durable as past Pro V1's as I can see more wear marks sooner. Still the best.

I sure would love to get to test some new ProV1X balls. Ts2 Driver, 3 wood, and hybrid, Ap3 irons, and Sm8 Vokey wedges. Considering going back to playing a scotty putter....

Have recently joined Team Titleist and am very interested in seeing the comments about 2021 Pro V1, Pro V1X and test balls. I have just received notice my custom order of -Pro V1X balls are on the way. Can't wait till the snow melts and we can get playing again. Would be interested in trying a Titleist ball fitting this year. I'll have to watch for it at my club.

It has been a wet couple of weeks, and, the golf course is very soft. The ball feels great, but, I will need to follow up, once the golfing conditions improve.

    thanks Team Titleist

The white box showed up the other day, played 9 holes with the new X in 45 degrees of sunshine. This ball is great. Love the harder ball to putt with and the spin around the green. Cant wait to see how it compares to the LD that I have been playing for the last year. I will try them side by side but need a little warmer weather. Anybody tested them both? Thanks Team Titleist

  11. I was at golf Galaxy tonight looking to get some Pro V1x and AVX (usually play Pro V1 so I had some at home already)balls to test, I’m getting a Mevo+ LM in a few days and have always been interested in doing a long test to see how they compare over time.

Anyway they didn’t have white AVX so I asked an associate and he said they aren’t getting any in because of the upcoming launch for the 2021 AVX. I was under the impression that only V1 and V1x were launching this year. Am I wrong?

  13. Jim O, can I ask which balls you received and tested? I currently play the left dash and I love it. I’d love to hear more about your thoughts on how the left dash and the new balls are similar and/or different. I’d consider switching to the new V1 or V1X if the performance is similar to the left dash, yet improved. Simply because the left dash is not as common at the stores near me.

Sure, I tested the Pro v1. I play in 2 places, Cape Cod and Southwest Florida. In both places the wind blows every day, guarenteed. The left dash is a great ball, but it launches a little too high for the windy conditions I play in. Hope this helps.

  15. Love the feel of these. There fantastic and still the number one ball in golf. Just the feeling in the hand straight out of the box you know it’s high quality. It’s snowing here so I have only hit them off a mate into the net but the feeling is pure. So soft off the putter face also. Great ball

  16. So excited for you all that are getting these. Super cool.
  17. I got my sleeve in the mail last week. It's been a bit chilly in DC but can't wait to try them out soon. Thanks Allan!
  18. Thanks to Titleist for sending a white box of the new ProV1's. Its pretty cold here in NJ, so haven't had a chance to get back on the course yet. But I've rolled them on my indoor putting mat and they seem to feel very similar to the old ProV1 off the putter face. Looking forward to getting back on the course soon to try them.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to test the new ProV1 golf balls, which is a pretty unique and awesome experience. The first time I was chosen to test I was living in Florida and tested in sunny, warm, Florida-winter conditions. I now live in DC and play in Maryland, which offers a much different test in winter months. Two incredible experiences, but both so different. However, Titleist always seems to surpass my expectations by upgrading a ball that plays consistently well, regardless of conditions or location.

Today, I was finally able to get out and play and I hit a 290 yard drive in 29 degree weather; with much lower spin than its predecessor. Additionally, with cold, concrete-like greens, the 2021 ProV1’s stopping power was far superior to the TP5 balls my buddy was playing. I also game the special alignment balls for putting purposes and LOVE the new upgraded arrows on this ball as opposed to last year’s version.

To team titleist: thank you for this honor! I had a great time testing today.

To those that haven’t been selected yet: don’t worry! Keep engaged in the community and you’ll get a chance.

    Fairways and greens,
    Steven

  20. I seem to have messed up posting my photos, they were meant to be inline with my comments about each one.

Anyway, I've since played another full round with the test ball, in addition to the round where I played it side by side with the yellow 2019 Pro V1x. Really enjoyed playing the new ball and have to say I'm tempted to maybe try switching to Pro V1 instead of Pro V1x in this generation.

But I'll probably chicken out and just stay with the Pro V1x once the 2021's release. Just love that high flight.

I received my ProV test balls a few months back but had to wait for the Michigan season to catch up. A long few months for sure. But when the weather broke I was not disappointed. These were early season swings... but I can say that when struck well they did feel softer than my 2020 pro-v’s. Hard to compare distance as the wind was gusting and temps were in the high 40’s but the feel and action was enough to send me strait to titleist.com to take advantage of the four for three loyalty rewarded program. Thank you Titleist for including me as part of your product testing. If ever afforded the opportunity again, I think I’ll give it a go on a simulator first to take some of the “elements” out of the equation a no d follow with some on course validation!
