On tightly mowed fairways, is it easier to hit a draw or a fade?

A fade because of hitting down on the ball.

To change the flight of a chip or pitch, is it best to adjust the ball position or to make some other adjustment?

Ball position, body alignment, and club face alignment.

Find out your dominate core region and how you should take the club back based on that.

Over 80% of senior golfers are most likely upper core so understand how that swing works.

How do you take the club back? Straight back? Outside the line? Inside? Think mine is different each time....

  18. How can you best slow your arms and hands down so the body can catch up?

That is hardly ever the problem. Most people need to speed their arms and hands up because the bigger muscles are too far ahead.

Larry, should I chip with one club (e.g. sand wedge) or chip with different clubs depending factors like distance to the hole? Thanks.

Better players learn to use different clubs and hit different trajectory shots. Less skilled golfers would benefit from using one club and learning how to use that club to hit different shots.
  22. How do you flight the ball down when playing in the wind

Choke up with a 3/4 swing with the Ball back, stance open, and club face open. With that set-up you can hit a straight low shot.

Many ways and hard to describe here in detail. I have videos on Youtube that go over the different shots.
  26. How do you determine roll out distances when hitting chips and pitches?

It's all based on the landing angle. I see where I want the ball to land, and then see what trajectory shot I need to hit to that spot that will stop the ball by the hole.
  28. After winning 3 straight club champs (using ProV1X!), I took a break from golf. Larry, what is your advice for getting back to those winning ways - and regaining my form - as quickly as possible? Thank you.

It depends on whether you are an upper, mid or low core player. Each one is different.
  32. Larry, How important is "shaft lean" in shots around the green?
  33. Bill K said:

Shaft lean is important depending on the type of shot you are trying to execute. Even flop shots will have shaft lean at impact even though at set-up they will have little or even backward shaft lean.

For green side chips is it better to use a less lofted club?
  35. Rob R said:

When you say "chips" that means a lower trajectory shot so using a less lofted club helps with that.

Yes. Patrick Reed and Webb Simpson are two that come to mind. Jack Nicklaus was Upper Core as well.
