2018 was a bust year for me as it relates to golf. I had both my knees replaced and also had gastric sleeve surgery! I am over 90 pounds down and feeling much better. I think 2019 is going to be my comeback year!
  6. Lower my handicap 1st, probably goes along with play more golf and a little instruction.

    Happy new year !

As I look at my response I fall in a minority. I plan on having more fun. Of course I want to lower my handicap! Of course I should seek instruction! But to do that, I need a plan. I normally play one to two days a week with a teaching pro. Yeah, what a blessing and a handicap at times. It has been very helpful over the past six months, and say what you want when you make changes, your handicap is affected. Bipolar golf is frustrating. It takes time to make corrections, adjustments and get the feel on a consistent basis. My game is starting to be more fun and that is what I want in 2019. My pro has informed me that our goal in 2019 is working on my wedges and that my handicap will definitely drop this year. And I will have even more fun. And maybe new irons in the fall.......on the bucket list PGA Merchandise Show the end of January......

My main goal is to eliminate the 2 or 3 holes where my concentration gets a bit sideways on aprroach shots. Currently a 3.1 hcdp. I KNOW I can do better.
  9. Lower my handicap and earn my spot on the 2019 US Simpson Cup team.
  10. Dwayne N

Continue improving and lowering my handicap
  11. This past summer I was able to lower my handicap from 18 to 12, I am hoping to hit single digits this next summer.
  12. My #1 golf goal this year is to make the golf team at the college I will be attending in the fall. Looking forward to all that 2019 has in store!

Recover from hip surgery that I'm having in January & then take lessons since I will be swinging a revamped swing. It will be nice to turn behind the ball without any pain.
  14. In 2019...I would like to play more golf, improve in all aspects of my game...also...last golf season my wife decided she would like to start playing golf which I was very happy about so we bought her first set of golf clubs (Titleist)...unfortunately due to several health reasons she did not get to play very much at all...I want to help her spend much more time on the golf course this year...That would make for a wonderful 2019 goal...

Health and fitness is screaming at me- a key to better playing.
Fitting and equipment upgrade mixes in with health and fitness.
    Play more- have more fun.
Tune in to more quality rounds without forgetting to have fun.
Go as low in my own capability- not vanity.
  16. i want to.lower my handicap play more golf and also may buy some new irons and get a full bag fitting with new gear
  17. 2018 was a great "learning" year for me. I got fitted for my entire bag, bought a Trackman and set up a dedicated stall in my garage to practice the right way when I couldn't make it to the course. I am excreting again and working on my flexibility, being 48 yrs old is making each year more important to stay limber for my golf game. My goals for 2019 is to be a 6 handicap or lower, currently a 10. I want to average 255 with my driver, currently at 235. And I want to lower my Putts per round from 1.9 down to 1.7. I hope everyone has a great year and enjoys their time on the course this year!

    Happy Holidays, Team Titleist!

It's hard to believe, but this week we'll be hitting our very last shots of the 2018 golf season. It was a memorable year for our community, and we certainly had a great deal to be thankful for. (Click here to check out Abby's recent post that includes some of our favorite memories from the past season.)

But as 2018 winds down, it's also a great time to look ahead, with a new season on the horizon and plenty of new hills left to climb. So we'd like to hear from all of you and learn about your goals and plans for the New Year. Vote for one of the options in the quick poll below and add a comment to share what you'll be doing to make this season even better than the last.

Shoulder strength and flexibility. Increase club head speed.
