  1. I walk, but no longer carry. I have a remote control Kangaroo golf trolley, and love walking, and let that carry my bag. I'm 66, and will ride on occasion, but I've always considered myself a walking golfer.

I've promised myself to do more walking for fitness and to save a little $$$$$. The problem here in Vegas is 2 fold. First believe it or not there are courses that DON'T allow walking PERIOD, or DON'T give you a few bucks off your greens fee to walk? Secondly some of the courses are so spread out between greens and the next tee (100 to 300 yards). up hill that its just not feasible. Great post No'1 ....madgolfer hitemstraight

I couldn't agree more with you about the Las Vegas courses. Many of the resort courses spreads their green to tee to about a quarter mile in some of them. Not a walking course at all.

Are you ordering the new TS1 driver, Mr. Long Drive @Maderas? lol :-)

There is nothing better than walking, you just develop a rhythm and you become so much more in tune with your surroundings than you ever would if you’re riding.

I am fortunate to be a member of a club that requires members to walk, and as a result the club has a strong caddie program; however early on in covid the kids weren’t allowed to loop, so we all carried our own bags.
-I’ll say this, after a couple of months of carrying 27 and 18 on weekends my legs got quite a bit stronger and I slept better.
