    Received my email ‘invite’. The £2000 price tag for 2 days not including travel takes the buzz away though.

    Yeah, while I love TT and think the brand put out quality equipment and the engagement and opportunities they provide us through the events and forums are all fantastic, with everything that’s happening now and the squeeze people are feeling, I’m not sure the room has been read on this. It’s a hefty sum, for what will undoubtedly be a quality event with exclusive and money can’t buy memories, but… and it’ll be a big but for lots of people, the best part of £2k to look at the Old Course from your hotel window is going to be difficult to justify for so many.
    Of course, I’m only insanely jealous of those who CAN go, , you’ll have a wonderful time and the TT staff will make it worth it.

    Well I'm going to be honest that is a huge disappointment- I have been refreshing the page twice a day every day.

    The only point to travel 10 plus hours and spend £1000s would be for the old course- this is not even included!

    I'm sure the event itself will be amazing but not going to travel that far to look at it.

    Wow played dumbarnie in oct 2021 an amazing course a very special layout the key design feature is that you can only see the hole you are playing you can’t really see any other holes or players you feel the course is your own anyone coming to Scotland this should defo be on your to play list.

    Can’t make the TT day I’m in Mexico but a great itinerary at £2000 a bit out of my price range too!.

    I appreciate the cost and if I win the lottery I’m coming but to me if you are St Andrews the old course has to be a must. I did speak to the organisers and they said the old course would see the price go sky high but appreciate it’s a fine balance. I’m sure there are courses with accommodation that would pitch in at £500 that a few of us would have done? Good luck

    I’ve been checking the forum every day waiting for this to come out and in short I’m disappointed in the hotel choice and lack of Old Course.
    If you could attend without the over inflated hotel prices I’d be all over this.

    When St Andrews was mentioned in the earlier post, I think we all took it that we would be playing The Old Course. A bucket list course I’ve wanted to play myself and I’m sure many others.

    As always thanks for the amazing opportunity but this price tag is just way out of budget.

    I had put aside around £500 but it’s clearly not enough for this trip.

    I’m sure you understand in the current situation most people are in this trip is very pricey but I’m sure it will be a wonderful opportunity for some who can make it.

    Thanks again for arranging this Will, I will keep my eyes peeled for another TT day is one comes about.

    I appreciate your response and completely understand where you are coming from.

    Personally I am quite excited about the event in Scotland, we have a few little surprises in store for those that attend.

    There will definitely be more events throughout the year across the UK.

    Unfortunately my family holiday clashes with this, otherwise I would have been there. I did try to negotiate to change the holiday dates but this did not go down too well. Hopefully next time for me.

    Yeah I'd love to attend but I don't think my wife would be best pleased if I spent that on a couple of days of golf - Have to take her and the 5 kids away first ( I am lucky to even get out and play to be fair!!! ) :D

    I think like most we were expecting to play The Old Course. If that was the case I’d have jump on this without a heart beat. Cost will be prohibitive for 95% of TT family, especially as day to day living cost being as they are. I know I’ll be kicking myself if I don’t go but, so just put my car up for sale! Anyone want a 5 series BMW!

    I had put aside £1000 for the total trip including playing on the way up and on the way back but unfortunately with a total cost probably exceeding £2000, I just cant justify the cost. So it looks like I will be at Goodwood FOS instead.

    But if there was an other options, I would certainly reconsider.

    Like many others I also thought it would include the Old Course.

    Hopefully we all get the opportunity to play in another TT day this year.

    I’ve really enjoyed and appreciated the Team Titleist events I’ve been able to attend, memories I’ll have for ever.
    However, sorry but I’m nowhere near wealthy enough for this one, I could change much of my golf set for the cost of this event.

    Although I can’t make it, I did attend the Team Titleist event at Turnberry in 2018 and that too was very expensive, but I have to say that the team from Titleist treated us like tour pros for a few days and it was an amazing experience and one which I continue to talk about today with my friends. I appreciate this is an expensive trip and it is not in everyone’s budget, but if you can make it I can guarantee the Team Tilteist will definitely deliver just like they do with their products and you will be treated like golf royalty.

    I agree with the comments above. Looked forward to going to St Andrews and play on the Old Course, but although the two courses that have been picked are good courses, it a very expensive two games of golf on courses that would not be my first choices. Unfortunately I'm going to have to give this a miss as the cost for the two of us ( Mr D and myself) to do the trip can not be justified, although I bet Will and Team Titleist put on a great trip for you. Enjoy

    I’d have loved to have gone as St Andrews is a second home to me having been at university there and I last played there in 2017.

    At £2000 though it’s well out my range and not on courses I prefer. I could book a hotel, get in the ballot on the old and book the new and jubilee for about £500. The old is £295 in July but you can get it for £135 in March when nobody goes and the weather is normally beautiful. Getting on the ballet midweek isn’t difficult either.

    It will definitely be an incredible few days but on the steep side for myself as well particularly with being lucky enough to be based in Scotland and being able to take advantage of Scottish resident rates to have played the Dukes and Dumbarnie in the last 12-18 months. If my lottery numbers come up though, see you guys there :)

    Hey TT members, just to let you know, the rates are comparable to our Team Titleist Invitationals we have each year in the USA. While it does not include a round at the Old Course, you have an opportunity to experience the town of St. Andrews, go see Old and Young Tom Morris's graves, drink at the Jigger Inn, and hang out with your fellow TT members. I would come out and join you but I am freshly retired, moved, and trying to get settled in. It should be a great couple of days. Enjoy!

    Unfortunately I’m the same as others,
    I really hoped TT would have gotten the old course but it’s not to be.

    Being from Fife I’m lucky to have played and caddied around it already a couple of times and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon, it’s the atmosphere and buzz of St Andrews old course that keeps us coming back.

    As above the other courses are good and I enjoyed playing them.
    But this TT price / package I’m afraid during these challenging times for many families has missed the mark big time in my opinion.

    I hope all who do attend have the best time ever, but at that price I’ll give it a miss. ️‍♂️
