    I used to carry 4 AP2 PW, 50, 54, 58. But last year I went to three and it simplified my decision making and I had a great short game year - AP2 46, SM6 50F, SM6 56S

SM6 50-08, SM7 58-08M, Callie MD3 64. 9 iron replacement is 42*. I played with a lineup of 9 iron - 50 -58 - 64 between 2007-2010. 48-54-60 worked. So has PW-54-58-64. Sometimes simplicity is a good thing. I shot one of my better rounds of golf teeing off with a 3 wood and using 10 clubs on Friday (at a regulation course). I can take a 50-08 and hit a cut shot off a tight lie.
  12. 3 wedges for me ( 4 including set pitching wedge)
    50, 54, 58.

In my regular bag, I carry AP2 PW, then SM6 Vokeys 50-54-58. Very occasionally, dependent upon course and conditions, I may add a 64. Most often, I will take out the 54 to make room, but that depends on the situation.
The 50 and 54 are used for full shots, the 54 less so, but comes into its own along with the 58 for finesse shots. The 58 is my go-to bunker club and is rarely used for full swings.
The 64 finds a place for particular courses with small greens, sparsely sanded bunkers or dry conditions.
As with most golfing situations, I think the key is to be flexible and adapt to the conditions. If that means a change to the set up of my scoring clubs, then so be it...

    The 42* is a 9 iron replacement. SM6 50-08, SM7 58-08M and MD3 64/8. Reverted back to my 2007-2009 setup for lofts.

  17. I carry four. All SM6, 48.08F, 52.12F, 56.14F, 60.12K with an AP1 PW (43). Sometimes I leave the 60 out and put my 5 iron in depending on course. Absolutely superb clubs and now anything 120 yds in becomes fun and a challenge rather than a guessing game. Love them.

PS. I am new to these wedges and got them all at superb prices because of being earlier model.

I play with 4 wedges that includes the PW. I play the SM6's, 50.08 F grind, 54.08 M grind and the 58.08 M grind. All the same bounce as I play on firmer fairways and the sand is like concrete. Playing in the northwest one would think its softer conditions but my course drains so well it stays firm. The wedge selector lead me to my current setup. Best move I made, loving the new bounces.
  19. I'm currently playing Vokey 52, 56 and 60 degree wedges. One each Spin Milled, SM5 and SM6

I am just making the switch to a set of 714 AP1 irons which come with 3 set wedges of 44, 48 and 52 degrees.

My 52 Vokey is the older Spin Milled which has seen better days. I haven't decided if I will stick with it or replace it for now with the stock 52 in the AP1 set.

Gives me a reason to hit up the practice area and work on my short game to see which I should have in the bag.
  20. I just added a 5th wedge. Now I carry my two wedges from my set, C16 PW (43 deg) and gap wedge (47 deg), SM7 50, sm6 54 and an old 260.04 rusty wedge.
