  1. I replaced my 915D3 with a custom fitted 917D2. I also replaced my KBS shafts in my 714MB's with project x lz shafts. These 2 changes have already begun to pay off with much more consistent shots tee to green. And for the greens, I also replaced my '14 cameron select newport 2 with an original '95 Cameron Newport classic. The carbon steel has a much better feel than the Stainless.

Winter in Connecticut is hit and miss, but so far so good - I've been fortunate to get out a couple of times in January. Bought a new wedge, and I'm practicing my putting stroke - left hand low.

First and foremost got a full bag of Titleist clubs, ball and gear. I have started a 10 week indoor lesson plan, with a Titleist sponsored local pro. By the time the season gets here, I hope to break 80 and I know Titleist is going to help me achieve that!

I was fitted for a set of Titleist T-MB irons, a 917 D3, a custom SM6 Vokey and the 917 F strong 3-wood. When the weather or daylight did not allow me to hit the course--I hit balls or played a round (or three) in my home simulator.

I just won two closest to the pins this past weekend----doing something right!

    Abby,

Still playing golf as long as the course will still let me go out on their course. Also, working on indoor putting drills including stroke mechanic drills, alignment drills, and my putt on a yardstick drill. There is never enough time to work on the game.

Hope you're having a blast in Orlando! Post pics!

    Best Wishes,

    DV

Living in FL, It's an unfair question. However, when I lived in NY I was fortunate to live near a indoor golf facility that had 4 Golftron course simulators. From January thru March we had a Monday night Golf League with 2- person teams playing each other. It was a lot of fun and kind of competitive too. They also had clinics and you could rent time in the simulator. Unfortunatly, I understand that the facility is no longer there.

took a lesson at the end of the season, and the pga pro gave me two drills to practice in any room. First was the drill for follow thru that tought me tempo and balance. I was amazed at how out of alignment and balance I was, and I didn't even need a club. Just take my stance and practice the follow through and high finish. I use my phone or iPad to film myself I occasionally send to him to let him know I am still practicing. The second one was buy a remnant cut pile carpet about 10x 3 and practice putting to small object (shot glass, another golf ball) Practice 3 4 5 footers. This will help me get ready for the first 50 degree day when I will get out and play. Thanks Tom for the lessons.
